At the end of a year of ups and downs, many are still waiting to dance freely as we all knew and as the new year approaches, music still keeps us going through tough times. These gradual year-end selections will brighten your day and welcome a hopeful New Year.

1. “WE WERE TOGETHER (MIX ORIGINAL)” – KOSTYA OUTTA [DEEPWIBE UNDERGROUND]
Kostya Outta is an artist born in Belarus with a unique vision of house music, where the melodies of space blend with the grooves of the soul. Kostya’s recognizable style and signature sound have propelled his name far beyond the borders of his country. His track “We Were Together” captures its groovy progressive vibe on the imprint of the Deepwibe Underground label.
2. “HOLD YOUR BREATH (WHORISKEY REMIX)” – GSEP & RIKKI SAWYER FEAT. SUMMER MORELAND [PANGEA]
For much of this year, humanity has been the victim of a global pandemic. The effect of the multiple and uncertain blockages on the human psyche has been very clear, but the upside is that it has allowed us to reflect on what we have lost, what we love and what we want to do with our future. . It was a time when many of us learned to appreciate the time we had left on the planet and reaffirm the position that music plays in our lives as one of the biggest influences and escapes we have ever had. . “Hold Your Breath” by Rikki Sawyer and John Martin (GSEP), with an infectious voice with a message from Summer Moreland, gets a solid remix of Whoriskey.
3. “HYPERION (MIX ORIGINAL)” – CEZAR NICA [YOMO RECORDS]
Romanian producer Cezar Nica is pulling out all the stops for his first release on Yomo Records. “Hyperion” showcases Cezar’s unique production style, mixing catchy progressive beats with airy synth textures, analog hits, soaring leads and a heavy dose of technical percussion.
4. “HYPNO (MIX ORIGINAL)” – EANP [MNL]
Argentinian duo EANP are back in the studio as Ezequiel Anile and Nicolas Petracca have teamed up again after a short hiatus. “All Together Again” is an uplifting rush hour dance floor bomb that’s sure to please progressive house crowds.
5. “ALWAYS (FRAMEWERK SYNTH DUB)” – LUKE BRANCASSIO & GAI BARONE [MUSIC TO DIE FOR]
Luke Brancaccio and Gai Barone team up to create their new track “Always” with this new breakbeat remix from Framewerk.
6. “RUSH (MIX ORIGINAL)” – GULEC [PERSPECTIVES DIGITAL]
Darin Epsilon’s 2021 final release on Perspectives Digital features two powerful and moving tracks by talented Turkish artist Gulec. “Rush” is a glorious tour de force that bristles with dynamic brilliance. Heavy rhythm and a syncopated bassline form the basis of the ticking hats to sit on before a shimmering arpeggio spills out into the mids with effervescent ease.
7. “ARTEMISA (ORIGINAL MIXTURE)” – HEIK [BEDROCK RECORDS]
Heik’s creative vision is a mission to find an “intelligent balance between melodic techno and a darker, more intense vibe”, the project sees him explore a more complex side of his wide sonic palette on this first release on John’s Bedrock Records. Digweed. The titular single, “Artemisa” presents his poignant production style, echoing the captivating style that brought him to the forefront of rising melodic producers when he was part of ÃOSTIL.
8. “SURVIVORS (GUX JIMENEZ REMIX)” – EZY [OZ LAND MUSIC]
Gux Jimenez makes good use of the sounds of the track “Survivals” by Cartagena producer Ezy. This groovy remix is ââvery punchy with exotic sounds where the song unfolds quietly, but after a good preamble the song goes into a more club and dance style.
9. “LÃZARD (AMAN ANAND REMIX)” – GERONIMO EGUIGUREN & JUAN SAPIA [IF YOU WAIT]
Juan Sapia, famous for his releases with The Soundgarden, Sudbeat & OneDotSixTwo, among others, teams up with compatriot Geronimo Eguiguren for their debut EP on If you wait including this stellar remix of Aman Andand’s “Lizard”.
10. “LEMU (MIX ORIGINAL)” – MARWAY [UNIVACK RECORDS]
Sinusoidal soul, the debut EP on Univack by Argentinian artist Marway shows his diverse musical journey, ranging from guitar in metal bands to electronic music production in the spectrum of progressive house and melodic techno.
11. “DOUBLE-BITTER (ORIGINAL MIX)” – PETER MAKTO [WHERE THE HEART IS]
Peter Makto returns to Where The Heart Is with a two-track EP for the label’s 59th release. Bewitching melodies and shifting percussion make it impossible not to dance to this top notch tune!
12. “YUKON (J LAUDA REMIX)” – RIC NIELS [LABEL]
Ric Niels is one of the fastest emerging talents to have recently emerged from the rich Argentine scene and his new track Yukon combines with elements that bring him closer to the modern melodic house sound, which is further bred by Buffalo, the new producer. -Yorkis J. Lauda.
13. “PAST HAS GONE (DARK PULSE REMIX)” – MARK YOUSSEF & NOVIKOFF [MANMADEMUSIC RECORDINGS]
Manmademusic presents their latest release from talented producers Mark Youssef and Novikoff with their track “Past Has Gone”, including the return of Dark Pulse with this tension and emotional masterpiece of a remix.
14. “BLOCKS (MIX ORIGINAL)” – SEBASTIAN HAAS [SYMMETRIC RECORDS]
Symmetric presents London artist Sebastian Haas, delivering a powerful progressive original titled “Blocks”.
15. “CIUDAD FALLO (NUFECTS REMIX)” – RED [LANDSCAPES MUSIC]
NuFects has delivered some solid work over the past few months that certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed and they deliver the goods in this remix of âCiudad Falloâ by artist Red.
