Algoa FM celebrates the return of live concerts

Algoa FM celebrates the return of live concerts by international artists to South Africa by giving its audience the opportunity to experience One Republic live in Cape Town on November 15th.

Three lucky Algoa FM listeners will each win a trip for two to experience One Republic live at the Grand Arena at GrandWest Casino.

The price includes flights, accommodation and pocket money.

“The timing couldn’t be better as One Republic is once again in Billboard’s top 10 on the Hot 100,” says Algoa FM music compiler Charl Leslie.

The hit “I Ain’t Worried” features in the beach soccer scene from the hit movie Top Gun: Maverick.

It was on the Hot 100 for 13 weeks.

“One Republic has proven to be very popular with our listeners and we are excited to celebrate the return of live music to the big stages, while providing our listeners with a great experience,” said Alfie Jay, Managing Director of Algoa FM.

“In this genre, the band is a personal favorite and our three lucky listeners and their chosen one plus one are in for a treat.”

According to marketing manager Lesley Geyer, listeners qualify by sending a Telegram message each time they hear a One Republic song playing on the station.

The contest opens on Monday, September 19 and ends on September 25.
