Video conferencing is an integral part of doing business. But do you really have the best equipment for it? This AI webcam takes your setup to the next level.

Impress clients, colleagues, and supervisors with professional video conferencing when you have the WyreStorm FOCUS 210 4K AI Plus Business Webcam. This professional AI webcam makes sure you look great in any light, gets everyone in the frame, tracks your movements, and more.

Maybe you updated your webcam a few years ago. Well, my friends, technology has improved by leaps and bounds since then. The best webcams for business today offer object tracking, AI light adjustment, and compatibility with all popular video calling apps.

It’s time to add a camera that truly enhances your professional appearance, like the WyreStorm FOCUS 210, to your workspace. Let’s take a closer look at this exciting new webcam.

Capture a 120° field of view and plenty of detail

Your audience will feel like they’re in the conference room with you, thanks to this AI camera’s 120° field of view. The wide-angle lens does what it promises; it captures more of the room and the people in it.

Meanwhile, every detail is discernible thanks to wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. It improves image quality in high contrast lighting environments and conveys clear details in bright and dark environments within the 120° field of view.

WyreStorm FOCUS 210 in a meeting

Look your best in any lighting

Let’s face it: unless you’re a creative pro, you probably haven’t set up your home office for video production. And the same goes for corporate offices: that fluorescent ceiling light makes anyone look dull.

But that changes when you add AI backlight compensation and low-light compensation to your setup, the kind you’ll find in this professional AI webcam.

Whether your call is on a rainy or sunny day, with or without backlighting, you’ll always look bright and professional to your boss, clients and colleagues.

Make sure your whole team fits into the frame

Does your team sometimes skip calls with you at headquarters? Make sure everyone is seen and heard with the WyreStorm FOCUS 210. Its advanced auto-framing feature automatically frames participants as they enter or exit the camera’s field of view.

Best of all, it does it all on its own – you won’t have to make any manual changes. This way, everyone gets into the frame quickly and easily, helping you get started without technical hassles.

Follow the presenter’s movements in real time

You’ve probably heard of presenter tracking on webcams, but if you haven’t experienced it, it’s a thing to see. This technology automatically keeps the presenter centered, even if they stand up to point at a visual in the background.

And this professional AI webcam automatically follows you when you enable presenter follow mode on WyreStorm FOCUS software. Once activated, the camera lens tracks your presence in real time and keeps you centered.

This way, you won’t have to recruit a friend or family member to keep the camera on you during an online presentation. How cool is that?

WyreStorm FOCUS 210 in a meeting room

Zoom in or out while you talk with this 4K webcam

Has your standard webcam ever automatically zoomed in when you didn’t want it to? Luckily, the WyreStorm FOCUS 210 lets you control close-ups during a Zoom or Skype meeting.

Magnify your call up to 8 times with 4K Ultra HD resolution. Alternatively, adjust to a narrower or wider field of view to focus on what you want using digital pan/tilt or zoom.

Enjoy high quality video capture

Of course, the awesome features above mean nothing if your webcam isn’t shooting high-quality footage. But that’s not a problem with this professional AI webcam as it delivers 4K ultra HD video at 30 fps, 1080p Full HD video at 60 fps and 720p video at 90 fps.

So you can expect stunning clarity, smoothness and detail at high refresh rates. It’s the perfect desktop gadget for live streams and recording fast motion.

Record accurate stereo sound

Audio quality is another important webcam element to consider. Fortunately, the WyreStorm FOCUS 210 has you covered too. It has two AI noise-canceling microphones that filter out sounds like typing, wind noise, barking dogs, and more.

This way, your audience can focus on your voice, not what’s going on around you. Meanwhile, it picks up your voice from up to 16 feet away and ensures you sound natural.

Make your online meetings a success, whether you're at home or in the office, with this AI webcam
WyreStorm FOCUS 210 close up

Use this professional webcam for any meeting

Your business can communicate via Zoom, but what if your customers prefer Skype or Google Meet? Do not worry; this professional AI webcam is nothing if not adaptable.

It works with all popular video calling apps like Zoom, Skype, Teams, Facebook, BlueJeans, Webex, Fuze, Google Meet, etc. According to the company, regardless of your software application, this camera supports seamless use.

Opt for a user-friendly webcam

Although you expect great results from your professional webcam, you don’t want to spend an afternoon setting it up and learning how it works. And we’re happy to report that with its clip-on, plug-and-play design, you won’t have to.

Simply attach the camera to your laptop or monitor, plug it in, and start calling. It works in just 3 steps. Even better, the slim design moves easily, allowing you to take part in conferences anywhere.

Moreover, this professional AI webcam keeps your privacy in mind. The attached lens cover prevents prying eyes from spying. It also protects the lens from dirt and scratches.

Add the WyreStorm FOCUS 210 to your setup

So is the WyreStorm FOCUS 210 a worthwhile purchase? You bet it is with its multiple high-tech features, premium video quality, and ease of use. A webcam like this takes your business conferences from good to great, ensuring you always look your best in front of the camera. At just $179.99, it’s great value too.

The stoner/skater rockers Eyedress, the synth-dance pop band of Virginie Heartracer, the infectious bubblegum pop of the 90s of Aqua, the electrifying guys of the London sports team and the hip-hop rhymes of SixSaidIt and Lil Eazzyy are our favorite tracks of the week.

Eyeglasses, “In The Dog House” – Manila-born, LA-based artist Eyedress brings the darkwave vocals of Paul Banks to life. The song starts out crisp and dark with a bit of a new-wave sound. Then the stoner-rock song slows down with guitars that get a little fuzzy. The video is funny and quite ironic. It puts the word “papers” in a whole new light. Pro skateboarder Franky Villani also makes his first music video appearance here.

***

Aqua‘Barbie Girl’ – It’s ridiculously hard to believe Danish 90s band Aqua released their debut album, Aquarium, 25 years ago. “Barbie Girl” is one of those songs you probably wish you never heard. It will never leave your head and the lyrics will remain etched in your mind forever (note: it’s true). An earworm of a musical gem, this bubblegum pop song is pure delight. I don’t know how this song has stood the test of time, but it has. The reissue comes out in September. So, “Come on Barbie, let’s party.”

heart runner, ‘Edge Of My Heart’ – If you’re a Saint Lucia fan, there’s no denying you’ll love Heartracer. The band from Richmond, Virginia bring the synths and create a dance party with this song. It starts with a big ballad sound, and once the vocals kick in, there’s no stopping the head banging. “Edge Of My Heart” is a contagiously sweet pop song. Brothers Chris and Chip Cosby wrote about a good relationship rather than all the toxic relationship songs these days. You will sing.

***

Sport Team, “The Drop” – Bring on the Brits! If you disappeared real British music, these guys have it all. Take the post-punk sharpness of Franz Ferdinand, the speaking-singing voice of Eddie Argos of Art Brut and add a touch of Pulp to the lyrics, and you get Sports Team. The band spices up the song with some angular guitars, a singalong chorus and an eerie frenetic energy. It’s catchy, it’s oh so british, and it’s a song that should be repeated. As the band says, “Let it drop”.

lil eazzy, ‘Up There’ – Chicago’s exercise era is in full swing with Lil Eazzyy on the mic, spitting with a staccato flow with a clean, smooth delivery. Eazzyy emphasizes his lethality while taking time to pay tribute to one of his fallen friends. Eazzyy isn’t performing, however, as he wants to make an impact with this new generation of MCs.

***

SixSaidIt, ‘Choosey’ – Jumping across the pond, we have a new single from SixSaidIt, which raps over this hypnotic clarinet instrumental. Six explores her ability to have a wide range of options to choose from among men in the dating pool. She accentuates her influence over them. When you have that kind of attraction, it only makes sense to be selective.

Rachel’s Choice: From the first notes, I was sure that FFS was back! Sports Team is as eccentric and weird as Sparks, with Franz Ferdinand’s angular rock and pop dance. This band is ridiculously good and ‘The Drop’ is so catchy – a band that clearly wears their influences on their sleeves. Sports Team delivers guitar riffs for days and lyrics almost as cool as Jarvis Cocker (Pulp). It’s hard to pull off! I listened to this song over and over. Now please come visit the pond. I’m waiting.

Vocal range is certainly not the only measure of a singer’s talent, but there is something so impressive about a good high note. It can add a lot of feeling to a powerful ballad or a beautiful musicality to an energetic pop track. K-pop is full of great examples, but here are a few that really shine!

1. NCT 127 – “Simon Says”

There are a lot of super talented singers in NCT, so you can bet they are enjoying their songs! “Simon Says” is just one of many NCT tracks with a truly killer bridge, and senior member Taeil’s high note in this one is so fantastic, it has to be heard to be believed.

2. TWICE – “I CAN’T STOP”

TWICE’s leader Jihyo and senior member Nayeon are well-known as the group’s powerful vocalists, and they really brought their A-game to “I CAN’T STOP ME.” The ad-libs during the choruses are definitely some of TWICE’s best, and they add a whole new dimension to the song.

3. TXT – “MOA Log”

This adorable TXT song is entirely dedicated to the fans of the group, MOA. It’s pretty cool that the toughest riff in the band’s entire discography to date comes from this track, because it shows how determined the members are to show their best in MOA. Singer Taehyun really went all out on this riff, because it’s super high!

4. aespa – “Wild”

The interesting part of “Savage” is that it allows the members of aespa to show off what they do best, highlighting the smooth rap sections and very powerful vocals! There’s something so satisfying about the transition between vocal lines and rap parts, and Ningning really kills the ultra-high ad lib in the bridge.

5. SEVENTEEN – “Pretty U”

Right from the great a capella intro, you can tell this song is going to have some fantastic vocals. “Pretty U” features a truly impressive run from vocalist Seungkwan, which is actually more prominent on the live stage than on the recorded track. It’s even more impressive!

6. NMIXX – “OO”

“OO” may be NMIXX’s debut track, but their vocals sound like seasoned pros! Senior member Lily in particular shows off some pretty remarkable stuff, with a smooth, almost jazzy run through the middle of the song. She has also already proven that she sounds just as flawless singing it without a track, which is an incredible skill.

7. ATEEZ – “Nero Black Cat”

This is a cover of the original Turbo track “Black Cat Nero” from the ATEEZ era on “Immortal Songs 2”, and it’s definitely memorable! Besides the group’s hard-hitting performances, maknae Jongho’s high note really makes the song stand out. Just when you think the note can’t go any higher, Jongho continues to sing!

8. UI – “Good day”

“Good Day” was released 10 years before this performance, but IU proves she can still hit the high note just as perfectly. Her stability when singing the run is incredible, especially considering how long she can hold the note. She’s a legendary K-pop singer for a reason!

9. Stray Kids – “Neverending Story”

Stray Kids as a group aren’t necessarily known for their heartfelt ballads, but ‘Neverending Story’ proves they should be! Originally released as an OST, the vocals are beautiful. The high notes are steady and smooth, especially considering the fact that the highest note in the song comes from Han – who is a rapper!

10. Red Velvet – “Happiness”

In the first album heard “around the world”, Red Velvet caused a stir with “Happiness”. One of the most memorable parts is singer Wendy’s iconic high note from the bridge, which is part of why that debut album stood out so much in the K-pop world. Wendy is undeniably talented and her voice is fabulous!

11. BTS – “Magic Shop”

“Magic Shop” is a very special song for BTS fans, not only because it has a lot of meaning, but also because it features some of the best vocals of the group! The high notes of the chorus prove that the band is filled with stellar singers, and this live performance also includes some really cool ad-libs that only add to the “wow” factor.

What are some of your favorite K-pop high notes? Tell us below!

DoorDash’s “Passion Should Never Go Hungry” campaign from its in-house team features a spot in which a diverse crowd of football fans follow the lead of a passionate capo. As he roars a catchy football chant, to the tune of “When The Saints Go Marching In” with playfully altered Spanglish lyrics, the horde marches through the streets, demanding what they most desire: food. food. Singing about their love of pizza and fries, the vocals deepens with increasing layers of harmony and instrumentation, building into a full-fledged musical experience as it reaches its crescendo.

DoorDash, an official sponsor of Major League Soccer, turned directly to LA-based SOUTH Music & Sound for the ad, which was directed by production house London Alley’s Luke Monaghan. With the song and lyrics already chosen by DoorDash, SOUTH was responsible for everything else, from original music and voice casting to arrangement, sound design and final mixing. The end result clinched first place in PULLTable of the ten best leads of the second quarter of 2022.

Striving for authenticity, the DoorDash team wanted a raw, guttural performance from people with real connections to football culture. SOUTH managed to assemble a team of singers with the right experience to deliver an authentic performance. A testament to the success of the casting process, the team found a Spanish-speaking leader to sing the bilingual lyrics, with a voice that eerily matches the on-screen actor.

Building up the vocals in layers, the audio features mostly pre-recorded singers with the captured sound of the ensemble sprinkled in for added realism. Working closely with the DoorDash team to create a more full-bodied experience, SOUTH adapted the sound to meet their needs as they evolved with each cut, incorporating additional vocals for a more diverse sound and more people singing just to greater musicality.

During the post, the teams worked to strike a balance between raw power and cinematic grandeur. Creating two versions of the audio, one truly raw and one perfectly polished, SOUTH worked to incorporate both into the spot, evolving from guttural to musical through the addition of a subtle orchestra mid-stream. By adding that cinematic touch, SOUTH managed to imbue the sound with a level of playfulness that handles the humorous lyrics of the vocals. Increasing this magical element as the song progresses, the final composition guides the audience, subtly heightening the emotion as it reaches its climax.

Dan Pritikin, partner and creative director at SOUTH, commented: “This project has been a really positive experience from start to finish. DoorDash were such collaborative creative partners, and we really appreciate the confidence they had in us to deliver a flawless performance that balances raw power with musicality. Nothing compares to that little moment of anticipation when you’re about to receive the cup and the relieved joy you feel when you realize it’s really going to work.

Ann Haugen, partner and executive producer at SOUTH, added: “Every new project we do forces us to bring new perspectives to the table and go beyond the traditional musical track – and we have absolutely succeeded in raising the bar. challenge of it. I felt so pressured to figure out how to meet all the different criteria to do something amazing. Watching it come together slowly and finish better than expected is priceless – it’s definitely one of my favorite projects we’ve done this year.

Pritikin and Haugen were part of a SOUTH ensemble on DoorDash that also included composer, sound designer and audio post-mixer Robin Holden, composer Jon Darling and producer Allison Lapinski.

Think more “Halifax grunge” than “Seattle sludge” on Varying Degrees of Whatever.

Content of the article

Considering that life is made up of a series of loops, it’s no surprise that the 90s are all the rage right now, with the defining grunge sound of that decade seeping into modern rock music.

City guitarist Louis Mendez turns up the distortion with Vomb, his band with David McCargar on bass and Jesse Silkie behind the drums. The group has just released its first EP, Varying Degrees of Whatever, which finds the crunch delectable between guitar solos and blooming vocals.

Think more “Halifax grunge” than “Seattle sludge” on Varying Degrees of Whatever, as Vomb keeps the sound in a dreamy, swirling haze, never slipping into aggression despite the hazy tones.

A song like By Design is driven by a sharp riff and ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaahs’ making it sound easy on the ear while Sharptooth MF is Nirvana power chords glued to a happy backbeat. Reflections delivers glorious guitar shredding, riding peaks and valleys of harmony.

The music is solid, but Mendez’s voice is fragile and needs support to rise above the din.

Vomb will open for Calgary band Exit Division on August 20 for Hull Block Basement Sessions at Hull Block Basement (9664 106 Ave.) Stream varying degrees of anything on Spotify and Apple Music or listen to it on Bandcamp.

Sound Transit installs elevated tracks over S. 320th Street at Federal Way

The elevated light rail tracks bring the completion of the Federal Way Link extension one step closer.

Federal Way’s downtown landscape is rapidly changing with the recent installation of elevated light rail tracks above South 320th Street.

On July 27, Sound Transit installed the Federal Way Link extension tracks on the main Federal Way route. The elevated light rail tracks are the first infrastructure built on South 320th Street in the city’s history.

Concrete pathways connect the Federal Way Link extension route to the Tacoma Dome Link extension route, which begins on the south side of 320th Street at the corner of the mall parking lot near the Target store.

The Tacoma Dome route will add about 10 miles to the regional light rail system and the first service could begin in 2032, according to Sound Transit.

For the Federal Way Link Extension, three stations will serve the 7.8-mile extension from Angle Lake to SeaTac to Federal Way scheduled to open in 2024.

The new Federal Way Downtown station was recently named, approved by the Sound Transit Board who approved the name at their June 23 meeting. From this station, the route connects to the Tacoma Dome line and runs along I-5 south.

Near South 348th Street to Federal Way, the preferred alternative route runs through Enchanted Parkway South by Costco where the scheme plans to have a South Federal Way station near South 352nd Street – not yet named – before continuing to Fife and the center -City of Tacoma, according to Sound Transit Project Maps.

No decision has been made regarding the South Federal Way station, said John Gallagher, media relations supervisor for Sound Transit. But the Enchanted Parkway alternative was considered the preferred alternative by the board of directors in 2019.

Confirmation or modifications of the preferred alternatives will take place after the publication of the draft environmental impact statement.

The Sound Transit board will confirm preferred alternate routes and stations, but no specific date has been set, according to Gallagher.

In December 2021, the board approved the South 336th Street site at Federal Way as the preferred alternative for the Operations and Maintenance (OMF) South facility.

The alternate South 336th Street location is a 59-acre site between South 336th Street and South 341st Place and between I-5 and Pacific Highway 99. The cost is expected to be approximately $1.2-1.4 billion.

OMF South will house 144 light rail vehicles for maintenance, cleaning and storage; it will also provide 470 union jobs with living wages with an expected opening in late 2029.

If confirmed as a site, the South 336th Street location will displace approximately 73 residents and two churches. The Sound Transit board is expected to confirm the location later this year.

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend! What was that feeling like, waking up and remembering that the Mariners had acquired Luis Castillo? Pretty cool. We’ll probably watch the rest of the Deadline action from the sidelines, but who knows? Here’s what’s happening in baseball right now.

In the news of sailors…

  • Marc W of the USS Mariner shared his thoughts on acquiring Castillo.
  • Fangraphs’ Dan Szymborski also analyzed Castillo’s trade for both teams.
  • Jerry Dipoto made a very classic no-commitment comment regarding what the team will do next. I’m willing to bet they’re still in the rental market. I’m still pretty surprised they didn’t get Brandon Drury in that deal with Cincinnati; it would have been a great way to get Abraham Toro some much-needed time in Tacoma.
  • A reminder to people who are concerned about the state of the Mariners farming system…this team now has a few years to rebuild this system, and they have already proven that they can identify and grow quite effectively.
  • For example, here’s a guy to watch out for when it comes to the next wave of leads from Mr.

Around the league…

  • Well, that explains why we haven’t seen a ton of movement so far. Although the barrage somehow broke with the Mariners deal.
  • The Padres are reportedly closing in on a five-year, $100 million extension with starting pitcher Joe Musgrove.
  • Fangraphs’ Ben Clemens closed out his business values ranking, placing Julio in 4th place and mentioning that he might be in contention for the top spot.
  • There is no season like the season of speculation! Given how many very public indications we’ve had that Willson Contreras will be traded, I’m shocked that hasn’t happened yet.
  • Between Elly De La Cruz, Noelvi Marte, Edwin Arroyo and Matt McLain, the Reds are set to have the entire infield in a few years.
  • With the MLB Draft just weeks before the trade deadline, team executives are exhausted and hoping for a change. Zach Buchanan of The Athletic has the story. ($)
  • Joey Gallo has had a nightmarish season under the league’s brightest lights. Gallo is disappointed with his performance and seems to indicate he thinks he’ll be leaving the Yankees soon in this Lindsay Adler piece at The Athletic. ($)
  • Steam is building a union of minor league baseball players.

Anders’ picks…

  • Congratulations to the Issaquah team!

Epidemic Sound has sued Facebook and Instagram’s parent company Meta for storing, retaining, reproducing and distributing its music without permission for more than 80,000 violations a day.

The company claims that as a result of Meta’s actions, Epidemic’s music is available on millions of videos that have been viewed billions of times. He claims that there are approximately 50,000 new Facebook uploads and 30,000 new Instagram uploads daily that contain his stolen music, and estimates that 94% of content using Epidemic music on Meta’s platforms is unlicensed and therefore in violation.

Epidemic Sound describes itself as a global music label and publisher with a catalog of over 38,000 musical works in 160 genres, designed for use in video content, television and film productions, podcasts, music streaming platforms and other media.

In court documents filed July 20, Epidemic Sound says Meta stored, preserved, reproduced and distributed his music without permission by offering his music for free without attribution or proper licensing on at least hundreds of his copyrighted works. author on Facebook and Instagram.

He describes the theft as “crawling” and on a “massive scale” and accuses Meta of offering the music production company’s works through a “music library” that any user can access and allows them to download, play, and play. broadcast and incorporate them into video content. free without license or permission.

“Furthermore, Meta has created tools – Original Audio and Reels Remix – which encourage and enable its users to steal Epidemic’s music from video content posted by another user and use it in their own subsequent videos. , resulting in exponential breaches on Meta’s platform, at the hands of Meta, “The epidemic continues.

“Based on information and beliefs, there are currently nearly 1,000 Epidemic tracks that are stored, curated, reproduced, distributed and/or otherwise exploited by Meta through its music library or content copying tools, Original Audio and Reels Remix.”

Meta

Epidemic says it’s not just the theft, but the fact that Meta “deliberately” prevented Epidemic from protecting its music catalog.

“Meta offers rights owners certain rights management tools designed to enable copyright owners to identify, protect and enhance their works. Meta has repeatedly denied Epidemic access to the rights management tool for music content, without a legitimate explanation,” the company says.

“The reasoning is clear: Meta knows that if it is forced to acknowledge Epidemic’s undeniable ownership of its content, it will have to properly indemnify Epidemic, which it has been unwilling to do despite repeated notices of infringement. Meta’s failure to provide Epidemic with access to this tool is inexcusable.

Epidemic Sound says it has tried to work with Meta to combat theft and says that despite repeated infringement notices and requests for access to tools that would help stop the problem, Meta has not complied. The music publisher says Meta has also refused to enter into a license with Epidemic, a process it claims Meta has done with many other rights holders.

“Perhaps Meta is hoping this will intimidate a company like Epidemic into bowing to Meta rather than incurring the disruption and expense of a lawsuit. Meta is wrong,” Epidemic writes in the court filing. .

“Meta is stealing thousands of songs from Epidemic at all times. Worse still, it knows it is doing it and refuses to do anything to stop it let alone pay to use the works it uses without Epidemic brings this suit to stop this outright theft.

Epidemic Sound is seeking a declaration that Meta infringed its rights, that the infringement was willful, a permanent injunction against Mega’s wrongful conduct, as well as damages for the theft and the cost of its attorneys’ fees.

This Week in Dance Music: The Chainsmokers announced they were launching into space, traveling electronic festival Breakaway announced a date in California this fall, Dimitri Vegas told us about his first starring role in a feature film , we celebrated the 32nd anniversary of Black Box’s 1990 hit ‘Everybody Everybody’, number 1 on Dance Club Songs, BMG acquired French legend Jean-Michel Jarre’s publishing catalog, Swedish House Mafia announced a residency of two years with Wynn Las Vegas, Skrillex graced what appears to be the credit list of Beyoncé’s upcoming Renaissance LP, Sofi Tukker’s “Summer In New York” hit the top 10 on Dance Mix/Show Airplay, Fred Again. .teased an upcoming Swedish House Mafia collab, ODESZA dropped their new album, we hit Tomorrowland, and we broke down the most played tracks from the Belgian mega-festival.

And guess what, there’s more! Let’s dig.

Jessie Ware, “Free Yourself”

After delivering Billboardfavorite dance album of 2020, What is your pleasure?club singer Jessie Ware is back this week with a new single, “Free Yourself”, which she describes as the start of a “new era” for her.

Compared to WYP?, which offered sultry, sexy, heart-pounding disco in blush and burgundy tones, “Free Yourself” radiates color, bright and bold, to match Ware’s searing chorus: “Free yourself / Keep climbing this Mountain top.” The production – handled by legend Stuart Price (Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys and many more) – adds an air of rush-hour urgency with its stomping beat, wailing horns and stuttering bursts of percussion that give Ware’s words of encouragement the force of Command: “Why don’t you treat yourself / If it’s so good then baby, don’t stop.”

From the question “What is your pleasure?”, Ware’s “Free Yourself” is permission to ask yourself: “What is my pleasure?” and act accordingly. Last month, Ware performed “Free Yourself” for the first time at the Glastonbury Festival, and will surely perform it again during a series of opening dates for Harry Styles in October. “I’m so excited for people to have this song for the end of their summer; to dance, to have no inhibitions and to be joyful because that’s how it felt recently to be able to tour again and be able to sing again,” she says. “Have fun, free yourself!” — KRISTAL RODRIGUEZ

Chris Lorenzo and COBRAH, “Mami”

Chris Lorenzo scored a (fairly) recent hit with his October 2021 edit of The Mamas & The Papas classic “California Dreaming,” and another major hit with his edit of J Balvin and Skrillex’s “In Da Getto.” Now Lorenzo seems to have another monster on his hands with his latest ‘Mami’. A collaboration with Swedish songwriter/producer/singer COBRAH, the tech home heater is a tribute to living like the bourgeoisie while “doping drugs in the penthouse suite”, a choice situation evoked by the production more and more dizzying momentum of Lorenzo and the expedited delivery of COBRAH.

“Mami” is the first release on the British producer’s new label, the aptly titled Late departure. “I had been listening to COBRAH’s stuff for a while and I knew that stylistically his vocals on my beats could work really well,” he says. “We were in the studio for two days recording different ideas, but I especially remember when COBRAH came up with the lyrics for ‘Mami’. I knew then that what we were creating was going to be huge, even before the rhythm is over. KATIE BATH

Manila Killa, Dusk

Manila Killa fans have always known the producer for his inspiring melodies, heartfelt toplines and future pop vibes, but today the 28-year-old musician presents a fuller picture of his influences and creative soul.

Dusk is my first album, the pinnacle of the sound I’ve created over the years,” he says. “I spent a lot of time during quarantine thinking about what I wanted when creating a full album. I realized that I wanted it to be a project that touched on all aspects of my inspirations and influences across the dance music. The topics and emotions I addressed consisted of grief, desire, and determination; all things I considered throughout the creative process. I took an approach that focused on dance music for production, going back to my roots and channeling the feelings I had when I first started listening to dance music. This album is something I’ve been working on all my life and I hope people can resonate with the ideas and energy I put into it.

His most honest body of work to date is also his most diverse, a sophisticated collection of tracks equally at home with frenetic drum ‘n’ bass beats and hypnotic house epics. He even tuned the whole LP to a visualizer – because if you’re not listening Dusk in its entirety, you only get part of the picture. – KAT BEIN

Moon Boots feat. Cherry Glazerr, “Come Back Around”

Summer dance meets cool indie on Moon Boots’ new single, “Come Back Around” featuring Cherry Glazerr’s Clementine Creevy. The first taste of the producer’s forthcoming third album, “Come Back Around”, is house music molded for the warmer months of the year: a heavy but jubilant rhythm marked by bouncy basses, aquatic synths and a sultry atmosphere that will have you rushing to the nearest beach. . Meanwhile, Creevy’s smooth voice put a candy coat on her lusty desires with lyrics like “I had a daydream that’d make you blush / You say what’s in a hurry / I can do you precipitate.” “Come Back Around” is effervescent and downright fun – just like its music video above, a summer adventure through Coney Island. — KR

AN21 & HISAK feat. Able Faces, “Okay”

The vibes are hypnotic and moody on melodic radiator “Alright”, the latest from Swedish producer AN21 (in collaboration with rising Italian artist HIISAK and Scottish singer-songwriter duo Able Faces). The track marks the first single AN21 – the artist name of Antoine Gabriel Michel Haydamous Josefsson, the younger brother of Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello – since 2015. As told by Antoine Billboardthere is a good reason behind the break.

“I’ve always had the merit of being Steve’s brother,” he says. “Was an instant hit from the start and was able to tour non-stop. I had kind of an impostor syndrome for many years. But touring was incredibly fun and I kept releasing music, but at At one point, making music was taking more and more time, mainly because I felt the quality of the music should be as good as my brother’s.

“I spent a lot of time in LA.” he continues, “and I clearly remember coming back for a second show after a while at Create in LA and realizing that for the second time there, I had no new music to to play. It was super dishonest for my fans to ask them to buy tickets, so I decided to stop touring. Then I went back to Sweden to reinvent myself, start a family and have a daughter Melody. Then , when I was ready to come back, Covid happened and then I had my son, Phoenix, but now that the world is hopefully restored It’s time to show the fans what I’ve been working on for all these years.

It’s time indeed, with AN21 performing at Tomorrowland this Sunday. Meanwhile, “Alright” is available now via Angello’s Size Records. — K.Bath

Bicla, “Mini Skrt”

Life is not black and white, but it is about dichotomies. Light and dark, introspective and expressive, brooding and raw as heck; these are all concepts that Russian artist Biicla explores on her second album Yes Locationwhich in itself is a dichotomous response to his 2020 debut album, No space.

“For a few years, I have been thinking about where and how to move forward. Constant traveling alone, a new team, new friends and endless thoughts in my head, as well as my first performances in America,” he says. “It was all like in the movies, and naturally that affected my music. The album No space was to find myself, and in 2022 I think I found myself. I just decided to create a light dance album for you that will touch your deepest soul, because it is inspired by new events and people I met during this time. I share with you my new look at electronic music in this new album. His full name was Yes! I think I found a placebut i decided to shorten it and just leave it Yes Location unlike the last album, No space.”

Today we’re highlighting “Mini Skrt”, because it’s just super fun and kinda weird, totally offbeat and absolutely cool, but you should dance to the full album. It’s a real trip. – K.Bein
