Faouzia live

Moroccan-Canadian superstar Faouzia will light up the stage at The Agenda, Dubai Media City. As part of Dubai Summer Surprises, the singer-songwriter will perform this weekend live on Sunday August 21. Faouzia is best known for ‘Tears of Gold’ and has so far collaborated with John Legend and David Guetta. Detective Byomkesh Bakshi is back, this time in a new avatar in ‘Hotyamancha’ (Stage of Murder), which is currently playing in cinemas across the UAE. The new film is set during the 1971 Naxalite uprising in Bengal, India. Based on the incomplete story of Byomkesh Bakshi by Sharadindu Bandopadhyay, the film sees the famous private detective embroiled in a story of revenge when he decides to attend a play and becomes a witness to a crime that unfolds. on the scene. As Bakshi digs deep into the case, it opens him up to a three-way story of love, betrayal, and infidelity. The cast includes Abir Chatterjee, Paoli Dam and Sohini Sarkar, among others.
