Terry Hunter, Paul Woolford, Four Tet among 2023 Grammys dance music nominees

This year’s Grammy nominations were released today featuring a handful of household names in dance music, especially among remixers.

The “Best Remixed Recording” category includes Chicago’s Terry Hunter for his remix of Beyonce’s “Break My Soul”, Paul Woolford for his remix of The Knocks & Dragonette’s “Slow Song” and Four Tet for his remix of “Easy Lover”. by Ellie Goulding. ”

Purple Disco Machine’s remix of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” and Soulwax’s remix of Wet Leg’s “Too Late Now” round out the category, which is limited to singles and tracks only.

The Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album categories are dominated by a handful of the same names, including Beyonce, Bonobo, David Guetta and Kaytranada:

The 2023 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Los Angeles Event Center which may have a new name by then but is still currently known as “Crypto.com Arena”.
